Jerome County will be conducting the primary election for State and County Candidates May 17 2022. Sample ballots and more voter information will be available soon.
Primary Elections are conducted in coordination with rules from the State's political parties. Each party has rules about who can vote in their primary based on what political party a voter is registered as. If you are registered as a member of a pollical party you will not be able to change on election day. Only voters registered as unaffiliated will be allowed to change on May 17. The state also passed a law last year that you are not allowed to request a replacement ballot if you change your mind about the pollical party ballot you wish to vote after receiving the absentee ballot at home.
Below you can find an absentee ballot application for 2022
***Precinct Committee races are left blank on the sample ballots because they are precinct and party specific. If you would like information about who is running as a precinct committee person in your precinct please call the Elections Office 208-644-2715
