Assessor
The Assessor’s principle function is to assess all property with Jerome County at a current market value and to maintain records of the ownership of all property within the county. The Assessor is also charged with registering motor and recreational vehicles.

Building Department
The Building Safety Department provides inspection, plan review and investigative services to the unincorporated areas of Jerome County and also to those cities that have entered into intergovernmental agreements with the county to provide building code services.
